Hi! I'm Feather and will be helping you along this journey. Here is a little about me and my story of how I got here.
I have a special place in my heart for the person that has had a setback or having trouble with their movement journey. I had a stroke 12 years ago and went from teaching group exercise 25/hrs a week to sleeping 22/hrs a day. I was scared of doing anything that may cause me an issue. Everything felt different. I couldn't approach exercise like I had and to be honest no one wanted to work with me either. I was too damaged for a trainer but not damaged enough to be given PT so I put on my big girl pants and got to work on myself. In 2 months I was back to teaching fitness again but in a very different way. I still can't do high intensity or anything with a lot of direction changes but I now know what works for me and because of my experience I now help others overcome physical setbacks, chronic pain or just inactivity cause.....life happens.
I don't want anyone to ever feel lost in the cracks or a burden when all they want is to start moving their body. I am here for you!
This all started a long time ago as I have always had a love for movement and love studying and knowing as much as I can about the body. I have been helping people move better for 25 years. I have training in a lot of different areas that include Pilates, Yoga, Corrective Exercise, Massage, TRX, Muscle Imbalances, Stretching, Meditation, Life Coaching, Mobility and so much more including a BA in Psychology. I am also a licensed massager therapist, which is who gets called "empathetic, compassionate, intuitive and caring" often.
I now use all of my knowledge and inner understanding to develop simple, smart sessions to help anyone MOVE BETTER, HURT LESS, DO MORE.

A chair, floor space, a tennis ball or lacrosse ball, access to a wall and a willingness to move and learn. Many of the floor exercises could be done in a bed if you can’t get to the floor….yet.

You can ask questions, request a form check, inquire about a modification, cheer on other members and vote on what the monthly challenges will be. This is a safe space for all members. If you cancel your membership you will no longer have access to the group.
